Our Mission

Eternally Curious is the brainchild of Los Angeles based designer Charlotte Irvin. In one sentence, eternally curious is an inclusive, slow-fashion label rooted in ethical practices and environmental consciousness. The brand exists to carve out a rare and innocuous space in the fashion industry, living at the intersection of radical inclusivity, high fashion, and ethical consumerism.

Through fashion, eternally curious embraces the visual language of archival European design, filtered through the lens of early-aughts nostalgia. Drawing inspiration from the punk sensibility and do-it-yourself ethos of Vivienne Westwood and Betsey Johnson, the brand reimagines couture through a distinctly whimsical and rebellious Los Angeles perspective.

From an early age, Charlotte used fashion as a tool of radical self-expression. At seven, she enrolled in sewing classes at Jo-Ann’s, using her machine to bring her inner world to life. She soon began crafting dresses for school dances and immersing herself in the glittering universe of early 2000s pop culture. Icons like Hilary Duff and stores including Limited Too became central to her aesthetic upbringing. To Charlotte, fashion has always been a language of creativity, connection, and freedom.

At its heart, Eternally Curious reimagines couture - not as exclusively reserved for elite runways, but as a thoughtful, personal, and accessible service. The brand blends the meticulous intention of traditional couture with the cultural integration and affordability often seen in American fashion. The result is a new wave of mindfully made-to-order clothing: approachable, artful, and resonant.

Each piece is sewn in our Los Angeles studio by a small team of skilled designers, crafted from vintage and deadstock fabrics, and available in custom measurements. Every garment is made with love—for the wearer, the planet, and the process.

In an industry built on labor exploitation and unsustainable practices, the path forward often appears to demand compromise. Time and time again, we’ve been told that growth must come at the cost of ethics.Creating a brand that is affordable, ethical, sustainable, and high-quality may be rare-nearly impossible, even- but that’s exactly why we are doing it.

We hope to see you as engaged, curious, and playful as we are in the creation of our world.

All curious souls are welcome.
